Individual sex therapy involves a tailored, client-centered approach to address sexual concerns, desires, and emotional dynamics within an individual's life. I utilize eclectic methods, drawing from various therapeutic models including; IFS, EFT, EMDR somatic experiencing and mindfulness to meet the unique needs of each client. By integrating these diverse approaches, we can address the emotional, cognitive, and physiological layers of sexual functioning, fostering healthier, more fulfilling sexual experiences.
Relationship Counseling
Two People: $200/ Hour
Three People: $300/ Hour
Sex therapy for couples helps partners address sexual difficulties by fostering open communication, exploring emotional and physical barriers, and improving intimacy. Through tailored techniques, including emotional and behavioral interventions, couples can resolve conflicts, enhance pleasure, and cultivate a deeper emotional bond.
For polyamorous couples, relationship counseling becomes particularly important as it navigates the complexities of multiple romantic or sexual relationships, each with its own set of needs, boundaries, and expectations. In these settings, the therapist helps partners address issues such as jealousy, time management, communication, and establishing consensual boundaries. For polyamorous relationships, the goal is to promote understanding and healthy negotiations, allowing individuals to navigate complex relational structures while respecting each partner's autonomy and emotional needs.
EMDR Intensives
$225/ Hour
EMDR intensives are structured, concentrated therapy sessions designed to facilitate rapid processing of traumatic memories and emotional blockages. In these sessions, clients engage in extended or multiple hours of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to target unresolved issues more effectively, often in a shorter time frame compared to traditional weekly therapy. The intensive format allows for a deeper focus and can accelerate the healing process, particularly for those dealing with complex trauma, anxiety, or negative beliefs that interfere with daily life. While intensive, the approach remains carefully paced, ensuring that clients are supported and guided through the process, with integration and aftercare being key components of the treatment.
Insurance
Due to a non-pathologizing approach to therapy, my counseling services are not paneled with insurance and appointments are private pay. You may request a super bill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, if you have out-of-network mental health benefits.
